## HISTORY

**1990**

Foundation of EAS Schaltanlagen GmbH with its business purpose to construct low voltage switchgears for industrial control systems and automation engineering solutions.

**1992 **

Integration of the sales areas “Reactive Power Technology” and “Network Analyses”.

**1996**

Move to the new premises with production and administration facilities on a total area of more than 2.500 sqm. in Gruensfeld, Industriestrasse 2.

**1999 **

Integration of a new product division „Fire Protection Technology“ and presentation of the first fire-resistant switch cabinet system.

**2006 **

Market introduction of the new safety system **SECURUS 90** for the early detection of smoke an fire in the switch cabinets.

**2008**

Extension of the existing company building with a production hall and an office complex on a total area of approx. 1.600 sqm.

**2008 **

Introduction of the EEC1 E-Plan Engineering Center Tools to realize automated engineering tasks for CAD applications.

**2009** Outsourcing of the business unit “Technical Fire Protection” into a separate company called EAS Technischer Brandschutz GmbH.

**2010 **

The company receives the certification according to [DIN EN ISO 9001](https://www.eas-schaltanlagen.com/media/downloads/Zertifikat-EAS-9001_2022_EN.pdf) including the sales and projection division as well as the production of switch panels for the business fields power engineering, automation engineering and reactive power technology.

**2014 **

The automation engineering division receives the UL certification (UL508) for the design and construction of switchgear and control systems for the US–American and Canadian market.

**2018**

The yet existing ERP system is being extended and connected with Industry 4.0 standards. This means that all operational processes are included into the ERP system, from purchase to engineering.

**2019**

Today, EAS consists of 50 highly qualified employees working in product development, engineering, production, sales and administration.
